LOCK IN is a freight-loading training simulator operated by Zengine™ ("Zengine," "we," "us"), sole proprietor Vincent Gonzalez, and made available at www.trailer-load.com. This Policy explains what information the game and this website collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the LOCK IN game, this website, and the facility dashboard we offer to schools and employers.
When you choose to save your stats, the game records information about how you load trailers: pieces placed and their positions, rotations, shelves locked, recoveries, collapses, hazmat handling, water/hydration breaks, tire-nesting actions, score, pace (pieces per hour), wall integrity, session length, and a per-session summary of these figures. This is training-performance data about your gameplay, not about your identity.
If you create a worker account to keep your record across devices, we collect your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider — we never see it). Creating an account is optional and free.
If your school or employer gives you a facility code and you choose to enter it, we store that code with your sessions so your facility's dashboard can recognize your shared results.
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics may process limited technical data such as browser type, approximate region, and pages visited. See Cookies & Analytics.
LOCK IN uses a double opt-in model. There are two separate, independent switches:
You can change either switch at any time from the in-game Data & Privacy panel. Turning sharing off stops new sessions from being visible to your facility going forward.
Under 13. LOCK IN is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information (such as email) from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it. Children under 13 may still play the game without saving any data.
Ages 13–17 (students). Where LOCK IN is used inside a school or CTE program, the school may act as the party that provides notice to, and obtains consent from, students and their parents or guardians under applicable law, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and state student-data-privacy laws. Where a school directs use of LOCK IN, we act as a service provider and use student gameplay data only to provide and improve the service for that school, and not for our own advertising. We do not use student personal information to serve targeted advertising, and we do not sell student data.
Schools and educators: if you intend to deploy LOCK IN with minors, contact us first so we can put the appropriate data-protection terms in place. We recommend you obtain parent/guardian consent consistent with your institution's policies before students create accounts or share data.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use saved gameplay data to target advertising to you.
We share personal information only in these limited cases:
This website may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and for analytics (for example, to count visits and understand which pages are used). We may use Google Analytics for this purpose. The site carries Google AdSense association in its code for potential future use; where the audience may include minors or a school directs use, we restrict or disable personalized advertising consistent with applicable law and Google's policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. The game itself stores your preferences and (if you opt in) your stats in your browser's local storage — this is on your device, under your control, and is cleared if you clear your browser data.
If you opt to save stats, we keep your session records for as long as your account is active or until you ask us to delete them. Local copies live in your browser until you clear them. Facility-shared records are retained according to the facility's agreement with us. We delete or de-identify data we no longer need.
Your saved data is stored on a managed database with row-level security so that, by default, no one can read another person's records. Facility dashboards can only read sessions that were explicitly shared with that facility. Passwords are managed by our authentication provider and stored only as secure hashes. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit what is collected in the first place.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us (below). You can also turn off saving or sharing at any time in the game, and you can delete locally stored data by clearing your browser. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
LOCK IN is operated from the United States. If you use it from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be processed in the U.S. Where required (for example, for users in the EU/UK), we rely on appropriate safeguards and process data only on the lawful bases of consent and legitimate interest in providing the service.
We may update this Policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the game. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
