Terms of Service

Plain version. Play free. Be decent. LOCK IN is training practice, not a safety certification and not real-world advice — it doesn't replace your employer's training. Schools and employers can buy a dashboard to see opted-in players' stats. We try hard but make no guarantees, and our liability is limited.

1. Acceptance

By using the LOCK IN game or the trailer-load.com website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. The Service

LOCK IN is a freight-loading training simulator. Gameplay is free. Optional features include creating an account to keep your record, and (for schools and employers) a paid facility dashboard that displays the gameplay statistics of players who have opted in to share them. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Training Supplement — Not Certification

Important. LOCK IN is a practice and familiarization tool. It is not a substitute for employer safety training, OSHA training, equipment certification, hazardous-materials (HAZMAT/49 CFR) training, or any legally required instruction. The game's rules and feedback are simplified for learning and may not reflect every real-world requirement. Do not rely on LOCK IN to make real loading, safety, or hazmat decisions. Always follow your employer's procedures and applicable law.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and notify us of unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) attempt to access data you are not authorized to access; (b) probe, scan, or breach security or authentication; (c) submit false data to manipulate dashboards or leaderboards; (d) use the Service to harass, harm, or impersonate others; (e) reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service except as permitted; or (f) use the Service unlawfully.

6. Facility Dashboards (B2B)

Facility dashboards are provided to schools, training programs, and employers under a separate license or order. Facility access is provisioned by Zengine. A facility may view only the sessions that players have explicitly opted to share with that facility's code. Facilities agree to use the data solely for training, instruction, and workforce-readiness purposes, to comply with applicable student-data-privacy and employment laws, and not to use the data to unlawfully discriminate. Pricing, term, and data-handling commitments are set out in the applicable order or agreement.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, text, graphics, and the Zengine™ and LOCK IN marks, is owned by Zengine and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted.

8. Your Data

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. You retain your rights over your data as described there; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service and to display data you choose to share.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its training content is complete or suitable for any particular real-world task.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZENGINE AND VINCENT GONZALEZ WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zengine and Vincent Gonzalez from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, noticed in the game. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
